This June, Beauty Undercover gave Agent K, a beautiful mother of 2, a belated Birthday Surprise: a visit to Koinonia Salon for Volume Rebonding and Hair Colour!

I know my hair looks damn terrible here.
Uneven color tone.
Dry and Damaged hair ends.
Curly Hair.
Many Grey Hair.
I know I really need a hair makeover.
For my birthday, Beauty Undercover treated me to a special hair visit to
The stylist who attended to me was Pauline the Creative Director.
The first thing she did was to do consultation with me.
She asked me a lot of questions about my hair history and what I usually do to my hair.
Look at her professionally checking through how my hair needs to be treated.
As my hair was too damaged, she suggested for me to have a haircut.
To see if I can be used to it, she showed me how it will look like.
As I am OK with it, the next thing she did was…
CHOP CHOP CHOP!
So sad my long hair is gone!
But at least those were the super damaged hair ends!
Just when I was feeling sad, Gino gave me a SUPER AMAZING hair wash.
(Until now, I still crave it!)
Thumbs up!
After hairwash, they did Demi treatment for me.
Taking care every strand of my hair to get them well moisturized to prevent further damage.
To protect my eyes while they use the steamer to penetrate the treatment, they covered my eyes with transparent film.
I felt so cool, feel like dancing with it like a slow motion.. LOL.
Time to get my hair washed with Gino, the junior stylist.
I heard that he is the ‘Aunty Killer’ in Koinonia Salon because of his amazing hands!
Next, Gino carefully applied perm lotion to break down the normal structure of my hair.
Hair wash and blowdry as usual.
From here, you could see that my hair are straightened already due to the perm lotion.
Gino started to straighten my hair further with the irons.
Last part.
To give it some curls and volume at the end, they used rollers to create the shape.
The machines heat up the hair slightly to fix the curls.
Well, time goes fast! The roller was taken off and that it how a rolled hair looks like.
Aww… Super love just looking at it.
Finally, Gino applied the neutralizer to fix the newly rebonded and curled hair shape.
A little more before I show you my volume rebonded hair!
Seeing that I have so many white hairs, Pauline suggested for me to colour my hair also.
Wella Color. Looking yummy maybe i’m just too hungry.
They applied the colour on the hair roots first.
With the heat, the colour was quickly absorbs.
Pauline is back for colouring my whole hair.
Then she applied heat again.
As we were in a hurry, Gino washed my hair and applied another hair treatment so that my hair is not so dry from doing two chemical services today.
So thoughtful right?
Actually throughout the rebonding, Gino also applied this moisturizing hair oil to keep my hair moisturized!
Final Step: Blow drying!

So much healthier and bouncier… it makes me look younger too!
